What better than Cat equipment to support the Société Nouvelle des Phosphates du Togo (SNPT) in
improving its performance? The company, formed in 2008 from the Togolese Office for Phosphates
(OTP) and International Fertilizer Group Togo, contributes to the country’s development through
phosphate mining. It boasts comprehensive means of production, including mines, factory plants and
port facilities, to meet growing worldwide demand for phosphate.

In response to increasing demand, the SNPT regularly
expands its fleet of equipment, which now includes 66
Cat machines! In 2020, the SNPT began updating its
fleet, with the notable purchase of eight 777Es, two
6015Bs and an array of support machinery.
In connection with these additions, the JA Delmas
Network is supporting its customer’s teams to optimize
their production and maintenance operations.
“JA Delmas is providing significant technical support
for recent equipment purchases, in particular with the
delivery of 10 weeks of training to technicians and
operators, the provision of two on-site technicians to
support the customer with machinery maintenance and
a batch of Spare Parts. We are also implementing a
continuous-improvement program with the JA Delmas
Mines Efficiency department and Cat support,” explains
